The JVDC-U is a VPOL Broadband UHF Cardioid Antenna. It also produces a wide cardioid azimuth pattern using an array of co-linear full-wave vertical dipoles. In addition, the dipoles mount to the narrow edge of aluminum 150mm x 50mm channels. A sheet metal cover contains the distribution cables. In addition, this antenna can cover the UHF band 470-800MHz.
Moreover, the JVDC-U RF feed comes via dual co-phased inputs. The design also embeds the structure housed within a 425mm diameter GRP cylindrical radome. Furthermore, the array can be top or side-mounted without the GRP radome. Also, the JVDC-U antenna is suitable for multiple Digital (DVB-T2, ATSC, ISDB-T) or Analogue channels. The antenna’s durable and rugged design will also provide many years of trouble-free operation.
